Beach Pebble Coverage Chart
Beach Pebble Coverage Chart
Measure the length and width of the installation area in feet, then multiply them to calculate square footage. A 10-foot by 11-foot area equals 110 square feet. The landscape industry standard for beach pebbles is an installed depth of approximately 2 inches.
Estimated Coverage Per Bulk Pallet at 2-Inch Depth
| Pallet weight | Estimated coverage |
|---|---|
| 1.5 tons / 3,000 lb | Approximately 150 sq. ft. |
| 1.4 tons / 2,800 lb | Approximately 140 sq. ft. |
Coverage is an estimate. Actual coverage varies with stone size, surface conditions and compaction.
How Many Pallets Do I Need?
Divide the total project square footage by the 2-inch coverage figure for the selected pallet, then round up to the next whole pallet. For example, a 280-square-foot project using 1.5-ton pallets requires approximately two pallets.
