Do you deliver?
Yes. We offer next day delivery anywhere in Florida in most cases, shipping by the pallet from our distribution centers in Jacksonville and Miami. We also serve the Southeast and the Caribbean.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout Florida, the Southeast and the Caribbean. Florida is our core service area and the only region where we can offer next day delivery in most cases. Every Florida city is covered, including Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Key West, Tallahassee and Gainesville.
How fast is delivery in Florida?
Next day in most cases. We ship by pallet freight on a Florida pallet rate, which keeps both cost and transit time down compared with long haul shipping.
What is the minimum order?
One pallet. All of our beach pebbles are sold by the bulk pallet, which weighs 2,800 to 3,000 lb depending on the stone.
Do you offer discounts on larger orders?

How much do Mexican beach pebbles cost?
Mexican Beach Pebbles start at $1,192.50 per 1.5 ton pallet, which covers roughly 150 square feet at a 2 inch depth. That works out to approximately $8 per square foot installed depth before delivery. Across our full range, bulk pallets run from $1,192.50 to $2,195 depending on the stone type and finish.

Why do beach pebbles cost more than other landscape rock?
Beach pebbles are harvested from beaches, sorted by size and imported by ocean freight, which makes them more expensive than crushed local stone. Buying by the pallet is the cheapest way to get them, since it avoids the heavy markup on bagged retail pebbles.
Coverage and Quantity
How much area does one pallet cover?
A 1.5 ton pallet covers approximately 150 square feet at a 2 inch depth, and a 1.4 ton pallet covers approximately 140 square feet. Two inches is the landscape industry standard installed depth for beach pebbles.
How many pallets do I need?
Divide your project square footage by 150 for 1.5 ton pallets, then round up. A 280 square foot bed needs two pallets. Measure length times width in feet to get your square footage: a 10 by 11 foot area is 110 square feet.
How much does a ton of beach pebbles weigh and cover?
One ton is 2,000 lb and covers roughly 100 square feet at a 2 inch depth. Our pallets are sold at 1.4 tons (2,800 lb) or 1.5 tons (3,000 lb) rather than by the single ton.
How deep should my pebble bed be?
Two inches minimum. Shallower than that and the ground shows through, especially with larger stone sizes.
How many pebbles are in a pound?
Roughly 20 to 30 pebbles per pound for stones around one inch. Larger sizes mean fewer stones per pound. This is an estimate only, since stone size and density both vary.

What are Mexican beach pebbles?
Mexican beach pebbles are smooth, rounded stones formed by ocean waves along coastal regions. Their polished appearance comes from natural tidal action rather than machine processing, which is what makes them popular for landscaping and decorative work.
What are Mexican beach pebbles made of?
Mostly basalt, granite and sedimentary rock such as limestone, sandstone and shale. Composition varies by source beach, but all of them share the smooth surface and rounded shape that comes from years of wave erosion.
What sizes do beach pebbles come in?
We stock mini pebbles at about half an inch, plus 1-2 inch, 2-3 inch and 3-5 inch sizes depending on the stone. Larger sizes cover less area per pallet at the same depth.
Where do Mexican beach pebbles come from?
Primarily the coastal beaches of Mexico, including Baja California, the Yucatan Peninsula and the Gulf Coast states. They are also sold as Mexican river rock or Mexican beach stones.
What is the difference between Mexican beach pebbles and river rock?
Mexican beach pebbles are smoother, glossier and more uniform in size and shape than river rock. Both are rounded, but river rock is shaped by freshwater currents and tends to be more irregular. If you are unsure what you already have in your yard, call 904-685-9550 and we can help identify it.
Do beach pebbles last forever?
Effectively, yes. These stones formed over thousands of years and will not break down as a ground cover, which is why they are a common permanent replacement for mulch.
Are polished pebbles good for outdoor use?
We generally recommend natural unpolished pebbles for full sun landscape applications. The coating on polished pebbles can fade and dull with constant sun and weather exposure. Polished stone works well indoors, in shade, and in water features.
Are Mexican beach pebbles safe for fire pits?
No. Do not use them in or directly around a fire pit. These stones absorb and retain heat, and trapped moisture can cause them to crack or pop, which is a real safety hazard. Use a porous stone such as black lava rock instead.
Installation
How do you install beach pebbles?
Clear the area of debris and vegetation, lay heavy duty landscape fabric, pour the pebbles into the center of the space and rake them to an even 2 inch depth. Rinse with a hose afterward to wash off dust and help the stones settle.
Do I need a weed barrier under beach pebbles?
Yes, we recommend heavy duty landscape fabric. It will not eliminate weeds entirely, but it dramatically reduces them and keeps the pebbles from working down into the soil.
How do you build a beach pebble walkway?
Mark your path layout, clear weeds and debris, install landscape fabric, then pour and rake the pebbles to a consistent depth. Water them in with a hose to settle everything. For a firmer surface, set the stones in mortar instead.
How do you mortar beach pebbles?
Start with clean, dry stones and a cleared area, then spread mortar about a quarter to half an inch thick. Press the pebbles firmly into your pattern, fill the gaps with additional mortar, wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth and let it cure fully before use.
