What does each color cost per pallet?
Pricing is by the pallet, not by the bag or the ton, and it hasn't changed in a while — but always double-check before you order since rock costs do move. Here's where things stand:

Natural, unpolished colors (Mexican Beach, Diamond White, Snow White, Mini Mixed, Mixed, Salt and Pepper) all ship on 1.5-ton pallets that cover about 150 sq ft at a 2" depth. The polished colors — Polished Black, Super Polished Black, and Tiger Striped — ship on 1.4-ton pallets covering about 140 sq ft at 2". The polishing process is why those three cost more per pallet and per square foot.
How much stone do I actually get per pallet?
At the standard 2" installed depth: a 1.5-ton pallet covers roughly 150 sq ft, and a 1.4-ton pallet covers roughly 140 sq ft. Go shallower than 2" and you'll stretch coverage, but you'll also get more weed growth and faster displacement from rain and foot traffic — 2" is the depth we recommend for a bed that actually stays put.
Quick math for common bed sizes at 2" deep:
- 100 sq ft bed: under one pallet, but you still order one — one pallet is our minimum
- 300 sq ft bed: two pallets (natural colors) or a bit over two (polished colors)
- 600 sq ft bed: four pallets (natural) or about 4.3 pallets, so round up to five (polished)
Do prices drop if I order more than three pallets?
Yes. Volume pricing kicks in above three pallets, so if your project is running four pallets or more, ask for a quote rather than pricing it out at the per-pallet rate above — larger contractor orders don't scale linearly. Request a quote and we'll get you the real number.
What does delivery cost, and how fast is it?
Delivery is quoted with your order based on pallet count and destination, and it depends on how the load ships. Orders under four pallets go LTL with curbside unloading. Four pallets or more ship flatbed. We run yards in Jacksonville (7643 Gate Parkway) and Miami, and from there most of Florida gets next-day delivery, the rest of the Southeast runs 2-3 days, and we also ship to the Caribbean.
Because there's no online checkout, you won't see a delivery total at a shopping cart — you'll get it on the quote or when you call. That's by design: freight on a 3,000 lb pallet varies enough by zip code that a flat online rate would be wrong for most orders anyway.
What else should I budget for?
A few things people forget to price in:
- Landscape fabric underneath the stone, if you're covering bare soil — this isn't included in the pallet price.
- Edging to keep pebbles from migrating into the lawn or a neighboring bed.
- Labor, if you're not installing it yourself — figure differently depending on whether it's a flat bed or you're working around existing plants.
- Sun exposure on polished stone. Polished Black, Super Polished Black, and Tiger Striped can fade with prolonged direct sun. If the area gets full Florida sun most of the day, factor that into which color you pick, or expect the shine to mellow over time.
One thing we won't sell you on: beach pebbles in or around a fire pit. They trap moisture, and that moisture turns to steam under heat — which can make the stone crack or pop. Keep beach pebbles out of fire pit rings and the immediate surrounding area.

What's the minimum order?
One pallet. Everything we sell is priced and shipped by the pallet, not by the bag or by the ton.
Is there a cheaper way to buy beach pebbles by the bag?
Not from us. We're a bulk pallet supplier, which is how we keep the per-square-foot cost down for larger landscape and contractor jobs. If you only need a few bags for a small planter, a bulk pallet supplier isn't the right fit.
How do I pay?

Do prices include delivery?
