Beach Pebbles Direct's nine colors run from $1,042.50 to $2,195 per pallet as of October 2026, depending on the stone and the pallet weight. Mexican Beach Pebbles are the cheapest at $6.95 per square foot installed; Tiger Striped Polished Pebbles are the priciest at $15.68 per square foot. Here's every color, broken down by pallet cost, coverage, and price per square foot, plus how delivery and volume pricing actually work.
How much does a pallet of beach pebbles cost?
Pallet price depends on the stone, not a flat per-ton rate. Everything ships on a 1.4-ton (2,800 lb) or 1.5-ton (3,000 lb) pallet, one pallet minimum, no exceptions. Current pricing by color:
1.5-ton pallets (cover about 150 sq ft at the standard 2-inch depth):
- Mexican Beach Pebbles — $1,042.50/pallet ($6.95/sq ft)
- Diamond White — $1,275.00/pallet ($8.50/sq ft)
- Mini Mixed — $1,325.00/pallet ($8.83/sq ft)
- Snow White — $1,295.00/pallet ($8.63/sq ft)
- Mixed — $1,395.00/pallet ($9.30/sq ft)
- Salt and Pepper — $1,425.00/pallet ($9.50/sq ft)
1.4-ton pallets (cover about 140 sq ft at 2 inches deep):
- Polished Black — $1,645.00/pallet ($11.75/sq ft)
- Super Polished Black — $1,945.00/pallet ($13.89/sq ft)
- Tiger Striped — $2,195.00/pallet ($15.68/sq ft)

Why is the price per square foot so different between colors?
Two things drive it: pallet weight and how the stone is processed. The six natural, tumbled colors (Mexican Beach, Diamond White, Snow White, Mini Mixed, Mixed, Salt and Pepper) all ship on 1.5-ton pallets and cost $6.95 to $9.50 per square foot. The three polished finishes (Polished Black, Super Polished Black, Tiger Striped) ship on lighter 1.4-ton pallets but cost more per pallet because of the extra polishing process, which pushes their per-square-foot cost up to $11.75–$15.68. If budget is the main driver, the natural finishes get you more coverage per dollar.
Does the price change if I order more pallets?
Yes. Volume pricing kicks in above three pallets, so a four-pallet flatbed order prices out lower per pallet than three pallets or less on an LTL truck. If you're landscaping anything bigger than a small bed — a driveway border, a large planting bed, a full yard refresh — it's worth asking for a quote at your actual square footage rather than assuming the per-pallet numbers above scale in a straight line.
How much coverage do I actually get per pallet?
At the standard 2-inch installed depth: a 1.5-ton (3,000 lb) pallet covers roughly 150 square feet, and a 1.4-ton (2,800 lb) pallet covers roughly 140 square feet. Going deeper than 2 inches eats into that coverage fast — 4 inches deep cuts your square footage roughly in half for the same pallet. Measure your bed, divide by the coverage number for the color you want, and round up — partial pallets aren't a thing, since everything ships by the full pallet.
What does the price include — is delivery extra?
The pallet price is for the stone. Delivery is quoted separately based on your address and pallet count, which is why there's no online checkout — you call or request a quote and we price the order, including freight, before you pay by invoice. Florida addresses typically get next-day delivery in most cases; the rest of the Southeast runs 2-3 days, and we also ship to the Caribbean.
Why can't I just check out online?
Because freight on a 1.4–3-ton pallet varies too much by zip code and order size to quote with a flat shipping rate. Call 904-685-9550 (calls only — that line doesn't take texts) or submit a quote request, and you'll get a real number for stone plus freight to your address before you commit to anything.
Are the polished colors worth the extra cost?
Depends on the application. Polished Black, Super Polished Black, and Tiger Striped look sharper around pools, modern hardscapes, and planters where you want a glossy contrast — that finish is the reason they cost $11.75 to $15.68 per square foot instead of $7-$9.50. Worth knowing before you order: polished pebbles can fade with prolonged full-sun exposure in Florida, so a bed that bakes in direct sun all day won't hold that glossy look as long as one with some shade or tree cover. For big, sunny open areas, the natural finishes are both cheaper and more fade-resistant over time.
